Common questions
How long does it take?
A Starter site goes live in 3 to 5 business days after we get your text and photos. A Business site takes 7 to 10 business days. A Plus site takes 2 to 3 weeks.
What do I need to provide?
Your logo, if you have one. Photos of your work, shop or team. A list of your services and your service area. Your phone number, email and hours. If you do not have photos or text, we can help.
Who owns my website?
You do. Your domain name is registered in your name, not ours. Your logo, photos and text are always yours, and when your site goes live, you get all the website files. Nothing is locked to us. Without a Care Plan, your hosting account is in your name too. The Care Plan is optional and month to month: you can stop it at any time with 30 days' notice. If you ever want to move your site, we hand over everything you need.
What about hosting and the Care Plan?
The Care Plan is optional. Basic Care is $35/month and includes hosting, SSL (the lock icon), backups and uptime checks. Care Plus is $65/month and adds up to 1 hour of edits each month and a short monthly report. You can stop at any time with 30 days' notice.
Do I have to pay for hosting?
No. Without the Care Plan, we set up free hosting for your site on Cloudflare Pages or Netlify, in your own account and name. We connect your domain name and free SSL (the lock icon). You pay nothing for hosting. Your only cost is the renewal of your domain name, which you pay to your domain registrar. The free plans are the hosts' own terms, and the hosts can change them. If that happens, we help you move your site. If you prefer that we look after everything, the Care Plan includes hosting, SSL, backups and uptime checks.
Do you work with businesses outside New Jersey?
Yes. We are based in Carteret, New Jersey, and work with businesses anywhere in the world. Everything runs by email, phone or video call, including the free demo. Prices are in USD.
Can my site be in another language or in several languages?
Yes. We build sites in any language, and one site can have several languages. We also build right-to-left sites for languages such as Hebrew and Arabic. We prepare the text in your language, and you check it before launch.
Do I have to leave a Google review for the launch price?
No. For the launch price we ask only for a short testimonial in your own words and permission to show your site in our portfolio. We never ask for Google reviews in exchange for a discount.
